We are in Tenerife, waiting for a couple of crew members to join us. Since our arrival here, we have been busy preparing for our epic Atlantic voyage. With the kind assistance of David Hosking, we have strengthened the hull, reviewed safety procedures on board and topped up our provisions. However, the winds aren't particularly favourable for us this week. Friday 22nd looks to be the most likely date for our departure, when the wind starts to come from the north east again.
